- Operating Room (OR): Two days per week + on-call as needed
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage from July 2024 through December 2024, with the possibility of extension. This opportunity entails working in both office-clinic and hospital settings, delivering high-quality breast surgery services to adult and geriatric patients.
Job Details:
- Reason for Coverage: Previous provider departure

- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Number of Operating Rooms: 28 across two hospitals
- Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 9
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult, geriatric
Required Procedures:
- General Surgical Cases ADULT
- Breast Surgery
- Cholecystectomy
- Hernioplasty
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Board certification in General Surgery is required.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- State License: Active South Carolina license and DEA registration are required.
- Clean Background: A clean background check (medical & criminal) is necessary.
- Breast Surgery Fellowship: Highly preferred; must have extensive training in breast surgery.
