The Mercer Marsh Benefits Multinational (MMB Multinational) Financing & Carrier Relations function is responsible for creating new placement strategies and solutions for multinational clients, and improving the way that we manage and interact with insurance carriers. The purpose of this role is to support the team with the development and implementation of financing solutions (Multinational Pooling, Global Insurance Programs and Captives) for our most complex global clients. The role is critical to our strategy to grow our business and covers a broad range of topics involving interaction with insurance carriers, internal stakeholders and some of our more complex global clients.

An active role in developing and implementing global benefits financing solutions for multinational clients, including interaction with global carriers

To develop a full understanding of the range of global financing solutions that are available to clients and the support services provided by the Financing & Carrier Relations function

We will rely on you to:



Support team members in the creation of multi-country programs and financing solutions (Multinational Pooling, Global Insurance Programs and Captives) for GBM and MMB clients

Work with members of the team to deliver ongoing services to clients such as renewal pricing support for Captives, implementation of Global Insurance Programs and reviews of existing Multinational Pooling arrangements

Work with members of the team to deliver consulting projects to clients such as Captive feasibility studies and performance reviews

Support the development of training programs, tools and processes to improve the knowledge and effectiveness of the global and local MMB teams in delivering financing solutions

Support the creation of marketing materials and intellectual capital to maintain and improve the external perception of GBM/MMB in relation to global benefits financing

Support the team with general day-to-day business tasks


What you need to have:



Some knowledge and experience of global health and benefits consulting or broking desired (in-depth knowledge is not required)

An analytical background and the capability to deliver technical related services

Able to manage large and complex data tasks, comfortable working with data

Strong analytical, data management and communication skills

Advanced MS Excel skills preferred

Proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint
