Mercer Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position for its Communication Consulting Team, based in the Lisbon office:


COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT


We are looking for a communications, marketing or advertising professional to join our team of Employee Communications Consultants, who will work with companies of all sizes and sectors to help them solve communication challenges related to their employer brand, in promoting, understanding and enhancing their value as top employer.
In this consultative role, youll help our clients through the definition, design, and delivery of communications strategies to enhance the employee experience, the employer brand reputation, and the engagement of their workforce.

Managing client projects that focus on developing and delivering communications strategies, plans and associated deliverables that articulate client objectives, advance an employee value proposition, contribute to enhance employee experience, and increase of engagement;
Contributing ideas and creating new approaches is also a key part of the role to support and drive our Communications proposition and methodology forward.

We will count on you to:

Develop communication strategies for clients to support other complimentary services or products of the advisory area in Human Resources consulting;
Perform project management duties, including developing and maintaining communications project plans, coordinating team activities, participating in and facilitating meetings and other associated tasks;
Lead discussions with colleagues and clients to generate ideas and analyse applicable data to implement and design communications strategies;
Act as role model with integrity and professionalism;
Network with peers internally and externally;
Maintain technical knowledge to the required standard;
Work with other teams in the business to deliver a profitable seamless service.



What you need to have:

Academic background in Public Relations and Corporate Communication, Communication Sciences, International Relations, Advertising and Marketing or similar;
At least 2 years experience in a consulting environment, with a proven ability to develop communication strategies;
Experience in relevant related projects;
English language proficiency (C1);
Analytical thinking;
Empathic Communication;
Organized, detail-oriented and rigorous;
Team player and capable of multi-tasking;
Curiosity and learning agility;
Availability for client visits and to go to Lisbon office once per month.
