Webuild((link removed)) is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architect / Structural Engineer to play a crucial part in providing comprehensive architectural claims and litigation support for large-scale development projects across the western United States.

The ideal candidate for this position would possess a minimum of 10 years of specialized expertise in the assessment of architectural design, to include:

Architectural Assessment: Evaluating architectural designs and conducting thorough field investigations.

Design Defect Evaluation: Identifying design defects and product deficiencies in various project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial.

Report Preparation: Compiling comprehensive reports detailing the impact of natural disasters, significant water/fire damage, and product design/construction defect events on projects.
Litigation Support: Offering expert witness and trial consulting services for both defense and plaintiff clients, drawing upon your prior successful experience.

As the Architect / Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading a diverse portfolio of projects. This will entail conducting thorough field investigations, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and scrutinizing design and product defects associated with commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, scheduling, and technical leadership. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing detailed reports outlining the causes of failure and the extent of loss. Legal support, including deposition and trial representation, will be a significant part of this role.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Registration as a California Architect or Professional Structural Engineer (PE) is preferred but not mandatory. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
