Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Network Security Engineer (Enterprise Security Assurance) in Irvine, CA:

Job Duties: Perform security assessments in a diverse and complex network environment, such as white-box network security assessments, risk analysis, security architecture, and design reviews. Evaluate cloud and traditional network environments to determine security risk, providing guidance to both technical and business leaders. Perform deep-dive security design security controls for key areas like Zero Trust Architecture, Data Protection at rest and in transit, and Oauth/SAML/Secrets Management for the enterprise. Recommend and implement strategic and tactical changes to network infrastructure. Define and develop technical security standards and guidelines to drive security improvements in a multitude of areas like wireless, SD-WAN, 802.1x, public cloud infrastructure, secret storage, containerization, and authentication. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and system engineering teams as well as other business units to drive solutions through threat modeling and security configuration reviews. Mentor junior staff and advocate security practices with engineering teams and business partners. Research new technologies, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities to help drive strategic planning with key business partners. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: At least four (4) years in each of the following: (1) Security Assessment; (2) Network Security; (3) Content Delivery Network; (4) Network Routing (OSPF, BGP); (5) Network Architecture; (6) WAN and SD-WAN; (7) Cloud IaaS (Azure); (8) SAML; (9) Certification: CISSP, CCNA or CCNP Security, or Public Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $176,800.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
