Effective
• Fall semester, August 2024

Adjunct faculty appointments are part-time temporary, non-benefits-eligible assignments for one semester in duration, with a teaching load not to exceed 9 credit hours.

Responsibilities
Most instructional duties will be at the Parkersburg Cosmetology Building.

Requirements

Duties:
• Develop and maintain relationships with current students and staff.
• Create a captivating educational experience.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Lead and demonstrate professional techniques both on the clinic floor and in the
classroom.
• Create and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere both in the classroom and
on the clinic floor.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:
• Must be a licensed cosmetologist.
• License in education preferred, with a minimum of 3-5 years in-salon experience.
• Strong understanding and passion for the industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining a positive,
energetic attitude.
