Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. A quantitative analyst analyzes performance metrics to drive optimizations in funnel metrics that increase revenue & profit. Applies data to identify and executes opportunities to maximize consumer outcomes in EverQuote’s warm transfer calls program. Improves auction dynamics and prioritization logic. Designs multiple variant experiments to improve performance and helps drive strategic thinking about how to evolve current programs and select extraordinary new opportunities available to the business. May telecommute from any location in the United States.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field.

Special Requirements:
Must have some demonstrated experience through academic coursework of the following:

1. Capable of designing a multi-step analysis plan for complex projects.
2. Experience in data querying and manipulation including SQL, Python, Snowflake, and/or Excel.
3. Able to write a clear test specification.
4. Can craft a story from their analysis that is understandable and actionable.
5. Can work collaboratively with other co-workers on large projects with specified roles and responsibilities.
6. Can interpret data tables and graphs to identify concerning trends that require further investigation and potentially mitigation.
