Twill, Inc. in New York, New York is seeking Director of Security to lead the development and execution of plans for enterprise solutions automation.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Lead the development and execution of plans for enterprise solutions automation, working closely with department heads, to provide an efficient working environment.
• Ensure technology decisions and architecture standards are keeping up with the state of the art in the industry.
• Evaluate and recommend new technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market. Perform code and network vulnerability scans and support incident response and remediation efforts as needed.
• Support in cloud solutions implementation in AWS, Azure, and GCP for the engineering renovation effort.
• Continuously develop cloud solutions to meet client needs and Twill technology strategy.
• Partner with business leaders (e.g., Product Leads, Engineering Leads, etc) to design, evaluate and advance their technology strategies ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Evaluate cloud spend against actual usage to ensure the best use of resources. Lead a team of IT security professionals.
• Align team members’ talents with their professional career goals.
• Provide hands-on training for direct team members as well as develop trainings for company-wide audiences.

This position has no supervisory/managerial duties.

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Management and Systems, Information Technology, or any IT related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services and features, common security threats, and risk assessments.
• Demonstrated engineering experience with AWS IAM, VPC, CloudTrail, Security Groups, WAF, SSM, ECS, EKS, and AWS Security Hub in the production environment.
• Extensive IAM program management and engineering experience using major identity providers, such as Okta and AzureAD.
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerability remediation on major operating systems releases(Linux, Mac, and Windows).
• Demonstrated engineering and administration experience with modern corporate solutions, including EDR, MDM, VPN, DLP, Email Gateway, Google Admin, Windows & Mac devices,
Atlassian, and Salesforce.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant security and compliance frameworks, drafting corporate IT policies, and experience with leading HITRUST, SOC2, and ISO 27001 audits
