Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Gurugram, India office:
IT Change Management Analyst

We will count on you to:

Collaborate closely with a team of Change Management colleagues, leveraging your experience as an IT Change Manager to enhance team performance.
Serve as a change management subject matter expert within the MMCTech organization.
Leverage ServiceNow as the primary change management tool, ensuring effective utilization of its capabilities including reporting.
Perform Change Management data validation and support the governance processes.
Monitor and report on change management metrics, such as success rates, lead times, and adherence to processes, identifying areas for improvement by utilizing reporting tools within ServiceNow or PowerBI to generate accurate and insightful reports.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of changes, identify lessons learned, and continuously improve processes.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to IT teams on change management best practices, processes, and tools.
To stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to change management and ITSM.
Generate Change Management reports for dissemination to senior management, providing information to aid interpretation and utilize report contents effectively.
Identify processes and areas that could be automated to help refine and improve the Change Management process.



What you need to have:

Broad IT knowledge and technical skills.
Demonstrable experience in application, database, infrastructure, or other related technology support.
Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent professional skills, including negotiation, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability in Change Management, including the ability to challenge IT teams and managers when necessary.
Experience using an IT Service Management tool, such as ServiceNOW, with an understanding of reporting modules.
Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in analyzing Change requests using reports and statistics to identify trends and implement mitigating actions.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in application, database, infrastructure, or other related technology support.
Ideally, at least 3 years of experience working in Change Management.
Proven ability in Change Management, including the ability to challenge IT teams and managers when necessary.
Ability to manage and facilitate activities across different functions and geographical locations.
Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think innovatively and adapt quickly.

Service Now fundamentals certification.
Extensive Change management experience.
Exposure to ITIL Service Management (or similar) processes and methodologies.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical resources from multiple organizations.
Familiarity with AI technologies like Chat GPT or similar natural language processing models.
