Schwope Brothers Tree Farms West Coast, is nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range and is 500 acres of barefoot trees. This West Coast division specializes in the production of high quality bareroot shade, flowering and fruit trees.

Rio Verde, located in Cornelius, Oregon, specializes in evergreen shrubs, trees, and specialty crops, occupying 300 acres that contain 160 field and 140 container acres.

This is newly created position is an incredible management opportunity for an independent, driven and self-motivated person who will be responsible for all tree production decisions at both sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Tree Production Management – Lead all container, liner, and tree production efforts for both sites. Implement changes as needed to optimize efficiency and productivity. Execute the production plan, managing purchase orders, shipping, receiving, and planting. Organize, prioritize, and manage the workflow to provide the most efficient operations that ensure the highest possible quality and yield of the crop.


• Leadership – Ensure that production staff know what tasks need to be done, how to perform the tasks, and have the resources to get the tasks accomplished. Provide leadership, management, and accountability for tree production for both sites.


• Supply Chain Management – Maintain an accurate inventory, develop and execute plans for procurement, inventory, and utilization of supplies. Improve efficiencies, processes, and create synergies within the supply chain.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and/or experience in container, liner, and tree production management


• Experience in project, program and/or organizational management


• Bilingual in Spanish and English
