Job Responsibilities




  • Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.

  • Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.

  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.

  • Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.

  • Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.

  • Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.



Locums, Inc. is seeking Radiologic Technicians for full-time services to help permanent staff at the White Earth Health Center in Ogema, MN.  Assignment will be for 1 year with a possible one-year extension. This is in support of the local White Earth Chippewa tribe.  Any valid state or Federal license acceptable.



 About the Opportunity:



- Period of Performance is approx. 9/5/20 to 9/4/21 w/ 1-year extension option



- 8-hour shifts, M-F. No weekends or Holiday shifts



- Provides all general imagining exams such as Chest, head, abdominal, spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities



- Performs standard examinations & evaluates patient scheduling to accommodate levels of criticality 



- Use the ALARA principle in 100% of imaging



- Performs Bone Density exams



- Performs quality control on radiography units; participates in the radiology quality assurance program and clinic’s continuous quality improvement program as necessary



- Completes and files radiology reports



- Other duties as assigned



- Malpractice provided



- Travel and Per Diem provided for providers 75 miles or more from facility



Requirements:



- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license



- ARRT Certification mandatory



- CPR certification mandatory



- 3 Years of experience as an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technician



- Full vaccinations and immunizations



- Current physical from physician
