• Position: Project Manager (Pre-Sales)


• Role: Contract to Perm


• Location: Arizona, Nevada, Oregon (or other Western, Mountain time zones)


• End-Client: Computacenter


• Travel: <2%, most work remote


• Duration: 6 month with right to hire.

- need clear articulation of projects/comm skills

- has built PM standards/processes/procedures before

- worked regularly with sales team and internal presales resources (not externally facing)

- positive energy, strong leadership, art of negotiation/constructive debating, strong listening skills, strength in stakeholders, gain consensus, yet not too overbearing

- has built SOWs, Cost models, proposals related to PM

- Understands PM best practices, PMI, Prince II standards

Mandatory:

· Recent 7-10 years as Project Manager leading complex IT projects spanning end user, data center, network, etc.

· Hands on with SOW, Proposals, PM related design solutions, cost models, PM services standards, processes, procedures, best practices, framework, governance/gatekeeper, Knowledge of contracts

· Experience working with the sales team, account executives, and business development

· Experience working with the delivery organization, other PMs, engineers, service delivery managers

· Experience working for a Systems Integrator, IT Outsourcing company, MSP or VAR

· Clear communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, service articulation, Negotiation

· Since of urgency, attention to detail, leadership personality

· Must be PMP certified

Preferred:

• Presales experience leading Project Management related activities, structured and consultative in nature, able to lead presales discussions and work activities


• Direct PM for any of these: end user & workspace technologies, network, hyperscale infrastructure and data centers, digital transformations, migrations/deployments/upgrades, etc..


• Familiar with top technologies involved in the above areas including Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure, HP, Dell, etc.
