Job functions & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, implement and support ECC, EWM, and PLM developments.
- Responsible for working with businesses to translate complex business requirements and processes, coordinating project activities with business and IT, and acting as an expert technical resource in all phases of the development process.
- Independent task handler and provide the best technical solutions to the Functional team.
- Responsible for managing quality, productivity, and deliverables from the ABAP Teams.
- Requires strong team player qualities and an energetic self-starter who can deliver consistently at a high-quality level. Strong communications and administrative skills.
- Conduct meetings and present status to the Leadership team.
- Additional responsibilities include: liaising with the ABAP team to ensure alignment and adherence to the standards.
- Provide off-hour support as needed
Skills:
- At least 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP with a focus on SAP SD, FI, CO, PP, MM, EWM, PLM, & MDG modules – workflows, RF and Dialog programming, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Interfaces, Enhancements, reports, and conversion.
- At least 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP Lead.
- Must have worked on SAP EWM, and have good exposure of Queues troubleshooting.
- Must have worked on web-services, ALE, IDOC, RFCs, BAPI, and knowledge of how EDI works.
- Good functional knowledge of SAP SD, PP, WM, EWM, and PLM.
- Expert in debugging and should have the ability to analyze existing processes and provide innovative solutions.
- Provide deep SAP technical and architecture guidance to project teams in support of solution design and development.
- Develop and adapt technical solutions/options into detailed technical design documents ensuring adherence to the functional requirements with technical design.
- Work with project teams and technical resources. Maintain and continually demonstrate a solid understanding of the functionality and test data required to Build/Unit Test/Assembly Test/System Test the customization.
- Be the point of contact with external teams like projects, operations, architecture, compliance, and testing among others.
- Excellent Problem Solving and debugging skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customer-focused processes & procedures.
- Excellent people skills with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
