Looking for Cardiovascular ICU nurses with at least three years experience and nebraska RN License. The Critical Care (CVICU) RN manages the care of patients with conditions including: acute cardiovascular disease, respiratory failure, and multi-system failure. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions consistent with the Critical Care Unit including: ACLS/PALS guidelines, dysrhythmia assessment and intervention, pre and postoperative of a patient undergoing cardiac bypass and thoracic surgery, airway and ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive medication administration, and management of cardiac assistive devices including LVAD's.
