Position: Branch Manager High Volume Plumbing/HVAC Wholesale Distributor

Location: Norwalk, CT

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $85-90,000 plus Profitability Bonus

About the Position: We are actively seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Branch Manager at one of our largest stores in our footprint. If you have familiarity and experience with growing and managing a business, managing a team of high performing people, working in a sales environment, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!





This is an entrepreneurial leadership position servicing a very well-known industry brand. The successful candidate will have full empowerment of building and growing one of New England’s best brands in this vertical and expanding the existing footprint above and beyond. To develop the “best”, the desired candidate will bring to the table a fantastic run of success in growing top-notch, high quality successful operations and sales teams, and delivering high-impact sales outcomes and efficiencies. The candidate must has a vision for the creation of the next level of the organization.



Education and Experience: The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of operations and leadership experience in a B2B sales environment.





Job Duties: As Branch Manager you will be responsible for the following:




  • Be entrepreneurial in nature with an innovative drive for success

  • Provide leadership for the organization’s associates and all branch functions

  • Manage a team with focus on customer growth, policy and strategy implementation

  • Manage the overall operation of a branch location including hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiencies as well as exceed quality branch operations

  • Manage inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch

  • Perform communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, coaching and disciplining associates

  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or engineering

  • 5 to 10 years of sales and management experience

  • Ability to take the initiative and maintain a strong work ethic

  • Industry experience and market knowledge is preferred

  • Experience with a start-up preferred

  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively manage through stressful situations

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software
