Duties/Responsibilities

•    Assisting Production Manager to directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, such as machinery, processing, and assembly

•    Assisting Production Manager to direct and manage plant operations for production

•    Assisting Production Manager to plan, schedule, and Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.

•    Develop and control profits, plans, and budgets

•    Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production

•    Control and minimize labor overtime 

•    Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company’s goals

•    Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs

•    Incorporates production organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel

•    Provides direction, development, and leadership to production supervisor

•    Assist in performing maintenance service and repairs throughout the plant

•    Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals by managing daily work assignments

•    Demonstrates good work ethic, flexibility and team-oriented

•    Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly production area

•    Responsible for training and monitoring a supervising production associates

•    A significant amount of time is spent on the production floor monitoring areas and planning and aiding in issue resolution

•    Assisting the Production Manager with administrative tasks like production schedules and timesheets

•    Develop operating standards and make recommendations for improvement in overall areas

•    All other duties as assigned by your supervisor
