Develop Hardware-In-the-Loop simulators for Hybrid system testing. The scope of the testing includes various hybrid sub-systems; regenerative brakes, high-voltage battery, transaxle motor and generator, engine torque and overall power management. Applications include HEV / PHEV power-split, Modular Hybrid Transmission (MHT), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).



Develop Plant models for use on our HIL systems that are representative of the vehicle. Leverage Ford Research.



Maintain HIL simulators for various programs;

(link removed) parts for control modules under test



(link removed) representative loads / build load boxes



Improve DV efficiency through expanded robustness of HIL plant models in an effort to move vehicle testing to HIL



Develop Python test scripts in order to automate test data collection and analysis.



 



Skills Required:



(link removed) Real time embedded control software using C-language



(link removed) MATLAB / Simulink



(link removed) HIL development



 



Skills Preferred:



Ability to work with other company activities in order to develop plant models, arrange for test harness builds, and procure parts for control modules under test, and build load boxes.



 



Experience Required:



(link removed) 3+ years MATLAB Simulink



(link removed) 3+ years developing Simulink plant models



 



Experience Preferred:



(link removed) dSPACE HIL experience using Control Desk



 



Education Required:



BS Computer Engineering / Science, or BSEE.
