Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicle properly for paint, including removing previously applied paint, cleaning and degreasing, smoothing surfaces and protecting unpainted surfaces by masking.  Also may include: cleaning, sanding, taping, masking, buffing, etc.  These duties require strong attention to detail to adequately prepare the vehicles for the next stage in the collision repair process.  Assist Refinish Technician in other areas as necessary.  Clean up after painting, including removing tape and supplies.
