Job Description

FBG Service Corporation an employee owned company is currently taking applications for a full time Maintenance Supervisor to manage projects and the daily activities of a maintenance team.

Essential Job Functions:

Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the client and their property.

Manage and motivate team of maintenance workers in successfully completing job objectives.

Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Knowledge of facility maintenance.

Establishes daily work schedules for maintenance staff by reviewing daily service requests and maintenance staff to ensure a 24 hour response time.

Performs maintenance on facility lawn care and snow removal equipment.

As needed, performs lawn care and snow removal services to campus grounds.

Follows and maintains the preventative maintenance programs and schedules within the company and educate staff to follow OSHA, state and federal regulations.

Ensures the maintenance team is professional in appearance and demeanor at all times.

Immediately reports and corrects all maintenance issues by: diagnosing,

performing minor, and routine maintenance/repairs to all affected areas.

Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all chemicals, tools and/or assigned equipment of the property in a safe manner according to company policy.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Other duties assigned.

Job Qualifications:

18 years of age or older

High School or GED (General Education Diploma) preferred

A minimum of three (3) or more years of maintenance experience

A minimum of three (3) or more years of supervisory experience

A valid driver’s license is required

CDL license is preferred or ability to get one

Familiar with using construction equipment

Ability to work an on-call schedule as required to meet the needs of the client’s property

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers. 

Physical Demands:

The work requires frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching and occasionally lift up to fifty pounds unassisted.
