VITUS Search Group is partnered with a great company looking for 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic Supervisor in Orlando, FL. Lead Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for a small team of 2nd shift technicians and will also be responsible for repairing Class 6 -8 vehicles including suspension, breaks and hydraulics. Lead Mechanic/ Supervisor must also have previous leadership experience and prioritizing work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Must have previous diesel experience repairing large diesel trucks and tailors. Garbage or Recycle Trucks a plus


• Specialize in vehicle transmission, suspension and hydraulics


• Perform routine vehicle maintenance


• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components


• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years experience as a diesel mechanic mechanic


• Strong leadership skills


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


• Deadline and detail-oriented


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


• ASE Preferred
