8 and 12 HOUR SHIFTS!

The Medication Aide is a member of the BrightStar Care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care and medication services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. If providing compassionate, high quality care is your passion, BrightStar has an opportunity for you.

Medication Aide Job Duties include:

• Provide client care and medication according to approved Plan of Care


• In addition to medication administration, may also assist with personal care and hygiene and provide a safe environment for clients


• Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements

Job Requirements include:

• Current Texas Medication Aide certification


• Current CPR certification Current


• TB test and physical


• 1 year experience preferred


• Valid Texas drivers license


• Reliable car/auto insurance


• Clean background and criminal record
