Environmental Supervisor - $95-110K + 10% Bonus – Heavy Industrial Products Manufacturing (Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Metals Foundry, Pulp & Paper, ect). Will report directly to the Environmental Manager and be responsible for leading environmental operators and/or professionals in working safely and supporting production teams to ensure environmental compliance is maintained. Will develop, implement, monitor and oversee safety, health and environmental practices at this manufacturing location. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Environmental Manager to drive strategic safety initiatives. Carry out the best HSE strategies, programs and practices. Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety and Health (EHS) laws and regulations. Develop new and creative methods to drive continuous improvement of EHS practices. Track the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Train employees on safety policies, procedures and regulations. Guarantee necessary records are maintained and prepared. Assist in hiring, direction, assessment and the development of the team of EHS professionals.



Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, safety engineering or related is required. 4+ years of EHS experience. 2+ years of management experience with direct reports. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred. Successful experience in a plant with best in class EHS practices. Strong knowledge of developing and implementing training programs. Proven success in driving continuous improvement in EHS. Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting. Knowledge of air pollution control equipment, radiation detection equipment, CEMS equipment, water & wastewater systems or monitoring equipment including their design, operation and maintenance. Experience working with Environmental Management Systems and standards in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Metals Foundry, Pulp & Paper, ect).
