We are currently seeking a good reliable candidate for a Leadposition, who have a proven track record of success supervising, managing and working with teams traveling to multiple site locations across a region.

Experience
Must have performed a minimum of 1 year in the material handling/rackinginstallation industry. This position is actually installing the steel racking systems built in warehouses and distribution centers. Experience in a lead role is essential. Must have working and crew lead experience in the following material handling installation categories: Conveyor Installation, Portable Office Installation, Mezzanine Installations as well as T-Shed/L-Shed Installations. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Must have exceptional crew lead skills.
- This person must possess a high level of written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to use computer programs such as Word, Access, Outlook/Skykick (E-Mail), and the ability to upload project photos will be required.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of the organization, orally and in writing and to assimilate and understand information in a manner consistent the essential job function.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- The ability to follow instructions and diagrams, such as Blueprints, RIG’s, and Brain-sharks is an essential component of work carried out by this person.
- Construction knowledge is a plus. The ability to use hand tools and most power tools is necessary.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Works as on-site Lead of the large scale projects in all phases of our business.
- Establishes and monitors administrative procedures for the project.
- Initiates and maintains liaison with all clients to facilitate successful project execution.
- Coordinates and integrates team and individual efforts
- Builds positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
- Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
- Ensures a safe working environment through training and supervision
- Ensures execution of all assigned projects as close to 100% of approved best practice standards as possible utilizing all available resources.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and distributed appropriately.
- Maintains contact with client managers to ensure their satisfaction with on-going project.
- Demonstrates ability to interact professionally and tactfully with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Works in retail environments and will be required to have a clean and neat appearance at all times with presentable clothing. For safety, the wearing of jewelry will be minimized.
- May be involved in repetitive bending, standing, and walking positions and may be required to pull, push, and lift manufacturer materials up to 75 pounds without assistance from other persons.
- The ability to work days, nights and weekends will be necessary. Extensive travel away from home is frequently required. Travel may extend several weeks at a time, and the right candidate will travel 100%of the time.
- Having reliable transportation available to get to work locations on time is a must. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Pay rate: $16.00 - $17.00 an hour based on skill set, experience, and knowledge
