UWorld is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to focus on our Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) product. From buyer personas to pricing and campaign strategy, the Product Marketing Manager will be an embedded subject matter expert and marketing strategist to work with the UWorld marketing team to evangelize our MBE vertical.



QUALIFICATIONS:



Job Duties (including but not limited to):



Market Research (40%)




  • Perform comprehensive, detailed market research on target markets and competitors

  • Define buyer personas, target markets, and how buyers consume their media and make decisions

  • Outline buy cycles

  • Define product pricing

  • Report on industry trends and recommend actions to position UWorld ahead of competition

  • Take the lead on web page creation for assigned products

  • Recommend necessary marketing tactics (content, campaigns, events, etc.) to support product offerings

  • Work within the UWorld marketing team to produce campaigns

  • Create and actively/regularly measure and report metrics to measure success

  • Own assigned pieces of the UWorld marketing plan

  • Enforce UWorld design/brand standards


Marketing Strategy (30%)


  • Work with product owners and VP, Marketing to define product marketing strategy

  • Serve as the embedded product marketing specialist for assigned products

  • Define product differentiators and market positioning

  • Recommend conference attendance, sponsorships, speaking and thought leadership opportunities


Campaign Prep & Misc. (20%)


  • Take the lead on web page creation for assigned products

  • Recommend necessary marketing tactics (content, campaigns, events, etc.) to support product offerings

  • Work within the UWorld marketing team to produce campaigns

  • Create and actively/regularly measure and report metrics to measure success

  • Own assigned pieces of the UWorld marketing plan

  • Enforce UWorld design/brand standards


Team Collaboration (10%)


  • Work with various teams including product owners, sales, marketing peers, customer support, and executive group to develop a collaborative process for rolling out marketing initiatives

  • Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for initiatives related to specific products and other assigned action items

  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide and receive feedback with tact and diplomacy




  • Assist other team members during peak periods of conferences, product rollouts, major campaigns or other marketing initiatives to ensure that all deadlines are met


Requirements



Minimum Education Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required; master’s degree preferred


Minimum Experience:


  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in a prior senior-level marketing/product marketing position

  • Knowledge of E-Learning, exam prep, nursing, and MBE markets preferred but not required

  • Working knowledge of best practices and measurement of primary social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitch)

  • Experience launching new products, pricing strategies, and penetrating new markets

  • Exceptional market research and reporting skills – ability to source, construct, interpret data, and recommend solutions, not just purchase reports from third parties

  • Ability to define and report metrics of success

  • Experience with website content creation and ecommerce experience

  • Superior organizational and self-motivation skills

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and platforms

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for generating exposure and engagement

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well within a team environment with competing priorities

  • Exceptional attention to detail with respect to adhering to and enforcing UWorld brand standards
