Essential duties/ Responsibilities:

VINATECH Engineering is seeking a QC Inspector. This position will be responsible for routine inspection of in-process and final products in quality control. Conducting (FAIR’s) First Article Inspection Reports. This successful candidate will thrive in a flexible fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent attention to detail, basic math abilities (GD&T), and open communication. You will inspect parts to ensure the highest quality parts are provided to our customers. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail.

Job Duties:

• Inspection of in-process and final products for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.


• Conduct FAIR (First Article Inspection Report)


• Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness


• Record and report inspection data


• Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.


• Part gathering/organizing


• Verifies specifications using purchase orders, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.


• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.


• Participate in continuous improvement activities


• Undertake other projects related to quality system improvement as assigned


• Other duties as may be assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent


• 1 year of Quality Control experience (preferred)


• Must possess Microsoft office skills (Word/Excel)


• Good math skill/familiarity of GD&T


• Understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.


• Excellent communication and report writing skills. A good level of English both in verbal and written communication is a must


• Analytic and detail oriented


• Punctual, reliable, and committed
