Assembly Operator

Kelly services has 50+ openings for manufacturing/light industrial for a leading manufacturing company located in Columbus, IN.  The available positions are:

• Assembly Operators - 1st Shift  4am – 4pm (10 days on, 4 days off) $15.30 hr /
  
  $22.95 hr OT


• Assembly Operators – 2nd Shift 4pm – 4 am (10 days on, 4 days off) $16.05 hr / $24.08 hr OT


• Assembly Operators – Alternate Shift – Sat – Tues Weekly alternating day and night shifts each week $16.05 hr / $24.08 hr OT

Description: Responsible to load, operate equipment and unload production parts while maintaining required quality and production standards.    

Responsibilities include:

• Operate equipment and handle materials to produce, assemble and prepare parts for packing


• Inspect and repair items following guidelines to eventually pack items


• Complete visual inspections of completed parts


• Maintain clean and safe working environment while adhering to company policies and guidelines


• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by team supervisors

Job Requirements: 

• Must have a team player mindset and ability to work in a production-oriented environment


• Must be able to work overtime as required


• Must have steel toe boots or shoes in order to start


• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and stand for the entire shift


• Must be able to stand, twist, lift, bend, stoop, walk, grip, bend, push, pull, etc. as required to successfully complete tasks and duties


• Entry level candidates must have the desire and ability to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment


• Satisfactory company work record, including attendance
