Job Title: Office Analyst / Pharmacy Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL -- 32307

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

Candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

1. High School Diploma

2. Pharmacy technician license

3. Pharmaceutical repackaging

4. Vendor communication

5. Inventory control - the fact or process of ensuring that appropriate amounts of stock are maintained by a business, so as to be able to meet the FL DOH emergency and response pharmaceutical need while keeping the costs associated with holding stock to a minimum. All inventory movement will be verified by the overseeing Pharmacist, Dr. Jennifer Dobert.

6. Warehouse management – included, but not limited to warehouse duties as assigned.

7. Working outside of normal hours – may be required to work outside of normal business hours during an emergency activation

Responsibilities:

SERVICE TASKS: Candidate will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:

1. Manage inventory for Public Health Preparedness pharmaceuticals daily and as directed by the supervising Preparedness Pharmacist

2. Receive and ship pharmaceuticals for Public Health Preparedness program on an as needed basis as directed and verified by supervising Preparedness Pharmacist

3. Prepare pharmaceutical procurement as directed and verified by the supervising Preparedness Pharmacist

4. Vendor management on a monthly basis and as needed as directed by supervising Preparedness Pharmacist

5. Inventory reporting during activations and outbreaks on an as needed basis as directed by supervising Preparedness Pharmacist

6. Policy and procedure management on an as needed basis as directed by supervising Pharmacist, Preparedness Pharmacist

7. Comply with all Florida DOH policies and procedures including the Emergency Duty Policy

8. Comply with assisting the Tallahassee, FL Bureau of Preparedness and Response warehouse logistics unit with warehouse duties as assigned by Preparedness Pharmacist

9. Comply with the Tallahassee, FL Bureau of Preparedness and Response warehouse logistics unit policies and procedures

10. Daily: Record the temperature daily on the daily temperature log, record the seal tags and status daily on a daily seal log in the time and manner specified

11. Quarterly: Perform and report the quarterly inventory to the supervising Preparedness Pharmacist in the time and manner specified

12. Annually: Perform the annual pharmaceutical replenishment visit with the supervising Preparedness Pharmacist in the time and manner specified

13. Attend trainings, conferences and exercises as assigned by supervising Preparedness Pharmacist Monthly provide the supervising Preparedness Pharmacist with a monthly pharmaceutical expiration list, a monthly reverse distribution list, a monthly seal log report and a monthly daily temperature log report.
