The Richard Janes Company is opening up it’s Oklahoma City office (the head office is in Los Angeles) and we are in need of a Director of Digital Marketing to be responsible for leading our digital marketing activities, including online advertising, email marketing, blogging and social media strategy, together with tracking, analytics, reporting, and the oversight of planning and developing our clients websites.

 



You will have to be able to not just plan, but also to execute the digital marketing work we need to get done. It will be a very small team in OKC to begin with but we anticipate this office to grow as we establish our footprint in this region.

 



This position reports to the CEO who recently relocated to Oklahoma City to enjoy a better quality of life with his family. Your work will be split with 50% of your time working with clients from the CEO's digital agency, Fanology, which works with clients such as Toyota, Microsoft, and P&G, and 50% of your time building the CEO's own digital brand and driving traffic to his online training programs around personal brand building.

 



Responsibilities




  • Planning and executing digital marketing strategies across organic social media, email marketing, blogging, digital funnel development, and overseeing paid search, display, paid social and SEO.

  • Overseeing website development and administration. (wordpress)

  • Collaborating with internal creative resources, external agencies, and other vendor partners for the development of resources necessary for digital marketing activities, such as the creation of graphics, text ads, articles, landing pages, and digital media plans.

  • Designing and working with other company stakeholders to implement comprehensive, integrated, and effective end-to-end data tracking.

  • Identifying, recommending, and executing as needed improvements for optimizing strategy, budget allocations, and customer experience.

  • Identifying, analyzing, using, and sharing digital marketing trends and best practices.

  • Act as the main point of contact for a small number of clients whose accounts you will be working on.

  • Other duties as needed



Ideal Requirements:

 




  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or substantial similar industry experience

  • 5+ years' experience building successful digital marketing campaigns with demonstrable experience: identifying and reaching target audiences, leading and managing social media initiatives and SEM, hands on experience with automated email campaigns, directing website development and administration, optimizing landing pages, and user funnels.

  • Mastery of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement experience with proficiency in digital marketing tools, technologies, and standards, with experience across platforms such as: Google Analytics, Doubleclick, or AdRoll Marketing, automation platforms such as Hubspot and ActiveCampaign (or similar). And if you have had experience with platforms such as Kajabi, Clickfunnels, and thinkific then that would be amazing (although not completely necessary).

  • Ability to collaborate within a team to manage and deliver assigned projects, and to work with little supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a concise and accurate manner that can be easily understood by non-technical people.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude, a “I’ll get it done attitude”, with a willingness to drive projects to completion in a fast-moving environment.



Job Type: Full-time



Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year





Experience:




  • Social Media Management: 2 year+

  • Email Marketing: 2 year+

  • Marketing Automation: 2 year+

  • Google Analytics: 1 year (Preferred)
