Fantastic opportunity for a Med/Surg RN at a beautiful facility Emory Decatur Hospital located near Decatur, Georgia! 

Since 1961, the Hospital has been an integral member of the community, offering a variety of premier services, including joint replacement, surgical weight loss, mammography, cancer treatment, heartburn solutions, a Medical Fitness Association Certified wellness center, and more. The Maternity Center is the first in Georgia to receive the international “Baby-Friendly” hospital designation. They are also a certified Primary Stroke Center and currently has 627 beds.

Position Summary:

The Med/Surg RN collects, reports, analyzes and provides data on an ongoing basis and as required by physician and/or interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organization standards. Revises and evaluates effectiveness of patient care documentation. Uses interviews, surveys, focus groups and questionnaires to identify and resolves areas for improvement. 

$29.00 - Low to Mid 30's  Based on Exp

$4.25 / hr. between 3-11 pm, $4.50 between 11p-7a

Weekend differential starts from 7a Sat- 7a Monday: Additional $3.25/hr

Has Relo in a case by case basis

Qualifications:

• BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.


• At least 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years in acute care hospital setting.


• Must have a minimum 1 year as an RN w/ BSN or 2 plus years as an RN w/Associates. Must have experience in desired specialty.


• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
