We're seeking a business leader for our growing energy services business.This individual will identify, develop, execute and manage partnerships and programs where Sunnova’s fleet of solar, storage and energy management capabilities can create collective value.Working with counter parties including electric utilities, grid operators and other participants who generate, aggregate or manage energy to consumers’ homes, you will forge new solutions to solve challenges facing today’s energy markets.



Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you will work cross functionally across the business, with vendors and through partners to align technology and process to address the commercial opportunities and generate substantial value for the company.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive business development for energy services with utilities, grid operators, aggregators and program managers to identify and respond to opportunities.


• Understand and influence the technology and capabilities of the solar and energy storage fleet.


• Perform program analysis, valuation, negotiation and implementation.


• Lead and optimize program execution.


• Define and lead development of the customer and enterprise tools to support ongoing program management and execution.Understand and influence the technology and capabilities of the solar and energy storage fleet.

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business or applicable area of focus


• 3 to 5 years of applicable experience in energy including grid services, energy trading, energy management, demand response and other applicable areas.


• Strong and proven program management experience handling complex go to market products or programs.


• Analytical thinker with hands on modeling experience.


• Experience identifying business opportunities and managing business development to realize those opportunities.


• Thrives in a challenging and fast-paced workplace and industry.


• Very strong decision-making, organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to influence others and drive consensus.


• Ability to move priorities forward, takes ownership of responsibilities with little supervision in a matrix ed organization.
