Industrial Inspection & Analysis is looking to fill an Bucket Truck Technician position at our Diversified Inspections/ITL location, in Southeast Territory.. Diversified Inspections/ITL is currently experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an experienced Bucket Truck Technician. This person will help in supporting our inspection services accordance with applicable OSHA and ANSI standards, as well as any additional standards required by the owner.

Applicants must have experience in the industry of Aerial/Bucket Truck.

Essential Functions

Responsible for troubleshooting and Inspection on all makes of aerial boom and scissor lifts.

Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance inspections on vehicles and equipment such as (Tractors, Trailers, Aerial Devices, Digger Derricks, Trenchers, Crane Trucks).

Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals.

Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers.

Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.

Perform multiple inspections throughout day on equipment to check and maintain proper fluid levels, performance of the equipment, etc.

Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.

Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Visual/operational inspection.


• Dielectric testing (AC or DC) of fiberglass booms, basket liners, hydraulic oil, insulated upper controls.


• Acoustic emission.


• Magnetic particle and/or dye penetrant test of critical welds and castings.


• Ultrasonic testing of solid, critical pins.


• Stability load testing.


• Mechanically inclined.


• Punctual.


• Be able to communicate with customers and co-workers.


• Valid Driver License.
