Job Position- 3D Experience. Sr. Technical Analyst

Location- Plymouth, MI

Full Time/ Direct hire

This is what you’ll do:

• Provide infrastructure management and technical development services to the Engineering IT team and broader IT Department, by being an expert in Dassault Systems 3DExperience Application (CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, EXALEAD, SIMULIA)

· Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in the PLM technical domain and apply these perspectives to Client’s business plans and projects

· Partner with PLM leadership to define, manage, and execute PLM business capability and IT landscape roadmaps

· Support Technical Delivery of 3DExperience configuration and functionality additions through code development management and infrastructure development

· Collaborate with business systems integration teams to provide 3DExperience APIs, data extraction and necessary methods

· Coordinate with business analysts to convert business requirements into technical specifications, create detailed solution design, coordinate construction, installation, configuration and testing of IT systems

· Execute architectural and capability analysis of potential solutions including evaluating the technical fit and viability of commercial-of-the-shelf products versus custom built solution.

· Create high level and detail design of infrastructure, applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows while meeting architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.

· Analyze and revise existing systems and documentation to identify remedies or improvements in the application or infrastructure solution.

· Provide support for critical non-routine issues.

· Support Enterprise Architecture planning for overall Client IT Solution Architecture

· Design and implement modifications to the 3DExperience configuration as required to support continuous improvement and smaller manufacturing projects

· Design and implement UX and other standards for 3DExperience configurations and customizations in order to drive consistency across the solution

· Work with internal or contracted 3DExperience developers to deliver the technical deliverables. Ability to guide the developers to follow the best practices in development.

• Troubleshooting technical issues with 3DExperience – MQL queries, resolving database connection issues, data load scripts, form errors etc.

This is what you’ll need:

· 3DExperience Infrastructure Expertise – in depth knowledge of installing, upgrading and supporting 3DExperience 2018x (CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA), such as to ensure high uptime and quick resolution on any issues. Should be able to suggest improvements to infrastructure and execute them to pursue high uptime and/or availability.

· 3DExperience Application Expertise – in depth knowledge of application configuration and extension, as to provide capabilities to the business as needed. Organized code management and environment management processes.

· Facilitation - Basic ability to pull a broad mix of people and related skill bases together for a common purpose and goal. Group dynamic techniques to have an individual or group work through a challenging issue, probe for issues/concerns and drive to consensus.

· Industry Knowledge and Expertise – Awareness of technology and Manufacturing process trends across the industry

· Modeling - The ability to represent information using a combination of graphical and textual elements. The ability to choose the correct type of model for a set of information, depending on the type of information to be communicated as well as the audience who will consume the information.

· In-depth knowledge of 3DExperience technical architecture to configure systems. Some experience extending 3DExperience functionality a plus.

· Hands-on experience in development and customization in 3DExperience and using MQL/TCL/Spinner

· Excellent Strong knowledge of database architecture and experience in MQL on 3DExperience.

· Experience in code optimization & performance tuning

· Experience in development on one or more than one modules – CATIA/ENOVIA/DELMIA

· College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

· 5 – 7 years relevant experience with 3DExperience Technical work required. Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing experience will be plus.
