Title:                     Finance Coordinator



Reports to:           Controller



Location:              San Rafael Headquarters



Hours:                  Core office hours 9am-3pm.



Classification:     Non-Exempt, Hourly



 



Primary Focus of Position:



 



This role is responsible for coordinating the timely payment of credit cards and ensuring proper collection and review of back up documentation.  Another key function is ensuring employee reimbursements are properly processed and paid in accordance with the company policy. This role works closely with the Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure proper and complete Job Close Outs.



 



All employees are responsible for representing, modeling and perpetuating a “can do” attitude and spirit that translates to a sense of personal responsibility and team spirit.



 



General Responsibilities:



 


Company Credit Cards


  • Process all credit card payments including collection of back up documentation

  • Post all payments to General Ledger through import process in View Point

  • Ensure documentation is reportable and auditable

  • Assist with management of credit card relationship. Review regularly to ensure TCCI is receiving best rates and benefits.



Travel




  • Booking travel for all employees



Coordinate Financial Operations of Job Close Outs




  • Liaison with Project Managers and Project Engineers on job status

  • Update View Point and KeyStyle checklist accordingly

  • Liaison with Accounts Payable as needed



Spend analytics


Perform account reconciliations as assigned

Special projects as requested.



 



Required Skills/Characteristics:



3 years of progressive related Accounting experience and/or Bachelor’s degree



Strong/Intermediate Excel skills with innate curiosity and aptitude for learning new software and automating processes



Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, see projects through to completion



Customer service orientation, team player, flexible and accommodating, pride of work product



Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and diplomacy. Professional verbal and written communication skills



Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize workload, deadline driven



 



 



Preferred Skills:



3+ years related experience in the construction industry preferred



Experience with ViewPoint by Vista, or Sage, Deltek Vision, JD Edwards software preferred



Intermediate MicroSoft Office knowledge
