As aTechB, you shouldbe well-versed in steering, suspension and alignment services;brake services; and cooling system services. Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work for any employer within the United States Must possess a valid, Driver's License (Provisional Licenses not accepted) Have the ability to pass Criminal, Educational, Driving and Work HistoryBackground Checks Have the ability to pass a "Hair Follicle" Drug Test(See Below)* *(Requires a minimum of 1.5 inches of hair anywhere on the scalp or body to sample and detects ANY usage within the last 90 days. Prescription medications are acceptable, though documentation from a Doctor/Pharmacy will be required upon time of test) Position Summary: ATechnician will conduct a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs; includingbut not limited tobrakes, drivability, emissions, steering and suspension, electrical, state safety and emissions testing, maintenance services, HVAC, starting and charging, and major engine. Part of your learning experience willbe computer-based E-Learning that will include modules that cover advanced theory of automotive systems as well as instructor led training. The training path is designed to expand your knowledge and experience to prepare you for the next step in your path. Typically, that next step is aTechA which will require you to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications. You can choose any two additional certifications out of the following four: A1 (engine repair), A6 (electrical/electronic systems), A7 (heating and air conditioning), A8 (engine performance).
