As part of the Enterprise Business Intelligence Team this individual serves as the liaison between the lines of business and IT to help implement business user data marts and create insightful business reporting & dashboards.
Primary Job Duties:
Assist in managing Enterprise customer databases for lines of business users, collaborate with IT to direct the creation & implementation of new databases, data marts, metadata and data hierarchies for data warehouse, and analysis applications.
Create line of business reports & dashboards using tool such as Business Objects and PowerBI.
Design and maintain Business Objects universes to provide underlying data structures to support report creation.
Work Hours:
Monday ~ Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience using databases to extract, summarize, and analyze information.
Strong technical skills to query and analyze customer databases using SQL or Python.
Experience with BI visualization tools and technologies such as Power BI & Business Objects.
Understanding of database management systems (Teradata, SQL Server, Big Data) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
BS/BA in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field is required. Master’s degree in computer science or relevant field is preferred.
Requires the ability to understand the business issues, and then provide the best methodology and data to answer the business questions.
