Job Description:

• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a college or university in accordance with ABET/EAC standards and registration in good standing as a professional engineer with civil designation at the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.


• Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering design experience.


• Professional engineering license in Oklahoma or able to obtain an Oklahoma license.


• Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff.


• Proficient understanding of CIV3D/AutoCad.


• Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standard & Brown book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).


• Must be able to work independently and within teams.


• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.


• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environment.


• Committed to lifetime learning to maintain skills within the changing technology environment.


• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
