-              13 week travel assignment with the option to extend

-              Shift Length – 12 Hour shifts

-              Hours Per Week – Full Time- 36 hours per week

-              Shifts Available- 7a-7p, 7p-7a

-              Estimated hourly pay rate for travelers: $45-$55 / hour

Medical Surgical RN Job Description:

The Med Surg RN is responsible for the care of patients who have medical or surgical complications. Typically the Registered Nurses (RNs) will have a tech, depending on state and institution, to assist with some care, but the primary responsibility still lies with the Med Surg RN. The typical duties and responsibilities of the Med Surg nurse include: Monitoring vital signs, ensuring operation of needed equipment such as IVs, feeding tubes, catheters, and oxygen tanks, communicating with patients and doctors, Providing family support for patients and administering medications

BLS / CPR certification

ACLS

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med Surg settings

Prior Acute RN experience needed
