Maintenance Technician

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician candidate working at an automobile manufacturing plant in Tennessee. The plant is located between Chattanooga and Nashville and is about 1 hour from each. This position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential. In addition, full benefits package and a $10K relocation. There is also a 3-month temporary housing allowance while you find a permanent place to live. There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician includes:

8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday), possible weekend rotating work

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery

Sustain and improve preventative maintenance program

Install and troubleshoot PLC’s and drives

Diagnosis system control and software issues

Identify and correct root cause of repetitive failures

Work closely with all department managers and leadership

Attend daily meetings

Preferred skills of the Maintenance Technician are:

Attention to detail

Must have above average verbal and written skills

High level of professionalism and able to communicate with all

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a face paced environment

Ability to manage and solve complex issues

Very strong organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities

Be a great motivator of people in a positive effective manner

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

Valid US driver’s license

2- or 4-year technical degree is preferred or related experience

Must have mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and diagnostic aptitude

Minimum, 2 years’ experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Conducting (drug screening and background check) report inquiries will be necessary for employment purposes.
