POSITION: Home Care Registered Nurse - Manhattan, New York Territory

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION: Great Base Salary up to $90,000 + Cell Phone + Benefits + Laptop + Travel Expenses

LOCATION: Must be willing to travel throughout Manhattan, New York Territory (75% of the time)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be a Registered RN in the state of New York (with at least an Associate degree, BSN Preferred)

Must be able to operate under little supervision

Must come from either Hospital, Homecare, Wound-Care, or Long-Term Care Facilities

Minimum of one year of experience in a medical/surgical environment preferred.

Must be comfortable going into patients homes

Must be willing to work 1st shift and 1 weekend per month

Must have Valid Driver’s license

Ability to manage 5 to 7 patients daily

Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required, as determined by operational needs

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

- At least 1 years of experience (3 to 5 years preferred)

As Home Care Registered Nurse you will coordinate and provide high quality multidisciplinary health services for patients in the Region/Program consistent with Agency philosophy, policy, goals and objectives, and Standards of Nursing Practice; Work under moderate supervision; Oversee/supervise the care being provided to the patients by Licensed Practical Nurses and paraprofessionals through regular home visits (every two weeks or sooner), which are in compliance with regulatory requirements; Assess the patients’ condition and updates the plan of treatment, as needed.
