This position is responsible for supporting public-facing e-commerce websites.

The Engineers’ will be involved in all facets of the processes from concept to delivery in an agile environment.

This position is responsible for technical leadership of the interactive technology architecture, standards, and directions. Guides the evolution of the system development process. Advises management and team leaders on the direction and use of technologies. Continues to remain "hands-on" by designing and implementing critical routines and programmed processes.

Job Functions;

• Defining principles, standards, and processes that comprise the Interactive Enterprise Architecture model.


• Monitoring corporate objectives to understand the business drivers.


• Analyses and evaluates existing and proposed application architecture and system components utilizing approved processes and systems.


• Provides both high level and detailed technical design documentation for development projects for use by other engineers and departments within the development organization.


• Acts as a technical consultant to other departments (i.e., user interface design standards, the security of technology method, etc.) on emerging technical system issues.


• Leads/Manages the support team to maintain an effective production environment


• Develops and manages error reduction strategy


• Create and assist systems design for projects that lead to the development of new or improved products.


• Develops high-quality well-documented system codes using various languages (i.e. JAVA, PERL, etc.) based on a specification developed in conjunction with application experts from other departments within the company

Education:

BS or MS in Computer Science required, or equivalent education and experience

Experience:

Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience;

Must be proficient in:

Strong JAVA Experience – Enterprise facing eCommerce websites - Experience a must

• Server Side JAVA, EJB and relational databases


• Spring framework


• Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
