  BOF Shift Supervisor – $70-80K + 20% Bonus - Steel Mill Operations – Will supervise approximately 10 hourly union employees and indirect supervisory responsibilities over Shift Maintenance personnel, as well as other salaried Maintenance Project Engineers as needed to ensure a safe, efficient operation. Coordination of the BOF process to ensure efficient flow of steel to downstream operations with minimal operational delays. Controls interaction between BOF and LMF/CSP operations. Ensures and routinely audits compliance to Standard Operating Procedures. This position may require rotating shift work.

  
  
  

   

  
  

Prefer BS degree with 2+ years of operations supervisory experience in a primary metals industrial environment. Preferably in a steel mill union facility. Responsible for directing some maintenance activities to support a reliable operation. Ensuring product quality is an essential requirement of this job. Additional responsibilities include trouble shooting, supporting continuous improvement activities, working with outside contractors/vendors, and communicating key performance measures to superiors. Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
