Project/Program Name: DOH Medical Transparency Website

Design and Implement REST web-services using Java, Sprint Boot, JSON and ElasticSearch for the Medical Transparency Website project.

  a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: The candidate would be responsible for the following day to day tasks:
  
  
  
  1. Design, Build and Implement highly scalable Java REST API’s using ElasticSearch.
  
  2. Assist the State Architect in building data structures for low latency applications using ElasticSearch and ElasticCache.
  
  3. Build java-based applications using Spring Framework with integration to ElasticSearch.
  
  4. Write complex queries with joins and aggregate that deals with large datasets.
  
  5. Build and Deploy Java REST API’s using DevOps automation tools such as Git, Jenkins & Artifactory.
  
  6. Design and develop low-level API interfaces.
  
  7. Design and develop low-level data structures using JSON.

Requirements:

Mandatory Qualification

Software Developer will be involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. 84 Months: Candidate can work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others.

• Qualification
  
  1. 48 Months of Experience in developing Java REST-based API’s

• 24 Months of Experience in designing and developing Java-based applications using ElasticSearch
  
  3. 60 Months of Experience in developing Java-based MVC web applications using Spring Framework


• 36 Months of Experience in designing data models using JSON
  
  5. 36 Months of Experience in building automation scripts and deploying Java-based web applications using DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins & Artifactory
  
  6. 24 Months of Experience in designing and developing solutions using the Elastic stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana & Logstash)


• 24 Months of Experience in creating indexes and analytics on ElasticSearch data


• 36 Months of Experience in advanced database design, data modeling and data integration
  
  9. 24 Months of Experience in distributed logging and metrics framework


• Bachelor’s Degree
