Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Responsibilities:

* Sample management and tracking, including the receiving and sending of

shipments.

* Handling of human clinical samples - FFPE and frozen tissues, blood, PBMCs.

* RNA/DNA/protein extraction, QC and downstream biomarker assays.

* Manage electronic notebook, database(s), and/or spreadsheets (link removed) />
* Other molecular or cell biology assays as needed.



Requirements:

* Recent college graduate with a GPA of 3.2 or better in biological sciences.

* Proficiency in molecular biology laboratory techniques.

* Experience with nucleic acid isolation.

* Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.

* Attention to detail and organization are musts.



Preferred Experience:

* Experience handling human samples.

* Experience with column-based RNA isolation.

* Understanding of the principals of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

* Lab experience outside of classwork preferred (internships, work-study,

co-op, senior thesis, previous employment, etc.)
