Role : WIFI Engineer Location : Philadelphia, PA (ONSITE from Day 1) Full Time/Permanent Job Description: Major skills to look for WiFi Protocol 802.11 MAC/PHY and latest industry standard WiFi 6E Familiarity with Network Optimization. concepts Familiarity with WiFi testing gears tools like WiCheck Cisco or Rukus AP experience RF fundamentals and some knowledge of RF survey They are looking for the candidate who have good understanding of Implementation and optimization of Wifi/networks (link removed) Experience Must: Expert Level understanding of 802.11 networks and protocols 802.11n/ac/ax Expert level understanding of 802.11 MAC, QoS and RF characteristics Hands on experience in Wi-Fi network optimization for high density outdoor, stadiums or enterprise environments. Understanding of latest Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E, WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA. Ability to understand and optimize network for convergence of Wireless Wi-Fi and 5G Hands on experience with Cisco, Ruckus controllers or Cisco Meraki Client In-depth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture/analysis Experience in site survey tools like AirMagnet or Ekahau Expert in defining WiFi network health/performance monitoring and KPIs and their use cases Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and IP networking Basic understanding of 802.1x security Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices, DOCSIS, Cable Modem standards etc. Experience designing and implementing WLAN, wireless networks, and RF Link Ability to follow a project outline and meet deadlines. Quick learner with the ability to work with very little oversight beyond high-level direction Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset Experience Desired: Experience with real time data processing and reporting Basic understanding of LTE network Education Level Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Years of Experience 5+ years related experience About Tanisha Systems, Inc.
