Use in-depth knowledge and experience to implement transformational software solutions that involve React UI. Create detailed specifications, implement enhancements, and conduct quality assurance reviews of peers application programming. Provide counsel and advice to management on significant application development matters. Act as designer for complex major systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms and computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, software, hardware, technologies, and tools, etc.). Deliver software end-to-end starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production. Drive adoption of CI/CD tools and support the improvement of the tools sets/processes. The candidate will need to have expertise in software engineering as well as data analysis. Understand interrelationships between systems and write working software that will successfully integrate and interface these systems. Understand how different pieces work together and use library calls, REST APIs, database queries, etc. Play a technical lead role in an enterprise area responsible for driving innovative solutions to better align to short-term and long-term goals, adding value by adopting software engineering best practices. 100% telecommuting permitted.
Masters or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development or a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development. Must have experience with: React; Node.js; HTML; CSS; JavaScript; XML; Bootstrap; Ajax; jQuery; JSON; Fetch Api; Jasmine; Nightwatch.js; Cucumber; Jest; DevOps.
