Job Title: Medseries 4 (MS4)
Client: Banner Health (Largest employer in Arizona)
Banner Health is a non-profit health system in the United States, based in Phoenix, Arizona. It operates 30 hospitals and several specialized facilities across 6 states. The health system is the largest employer in Arizona and one of the largest in the United States with over 50,000 employees.
Location/Onsite/Remote: 100% remote (work AZ time zone of PST, but flexible)
Contract/contract to hire and Contract Length: 6 months+, could be extended or converted
Interview Process: One round interview with manager and director
Start Date: 2 weeks from offer (background check and drug screen required)

Must Have:
Medseries4 (MS4)
Knowledge of RPG programming and IBM System-I

Pluses:
Knowledge of Java and Microsoft SQL
Nextgen or Cerner revenue cycle application

Notes:
Why open: Team are being tasked with big project so the day-to-day work is impacted to keep the lights on, work tickets, troubleshooting, maintenance, some building behind the scenes, supporting internal payment teams at Banner. Looking for an experienced consultant who can work tickets, do troubleshooting, help if any major incidents/downtime occur, etc. This person will be doing a lot of maintenance (some building involved behind the scenes), but needs someone who is experienced in MedSeries4 (MS4) that wont need any training.
Person will be interacting with internal customers (people in facilities using the systems like registration folks, revenue, etc.). Need good communication and ability to deescalate if someone is fired up or reach out to customer to validate/confirm information on tickets if something comes up, etc.
Need some who knows Medseries4 with no training aside from banner processes, need to hit the ground running
Soft skills: interacting with internal customers, communication, deescalate, call on customers for info, validate, folks in facilities using systems, internal banner employees revenue folks, not dealing with patients

Job Description:
IT Revenue Cycle Support (ITRCS) is responsible for supporting the MedSeries4 application for all facilities across three production environments including: installing new releases, retrofitting custom code into new versions of programs, managing projects and data validation. This group is currently working on a project to implement Cerner Revenue Cycle. This position is required to provide interrupted support and maintain day to day operations of Medseries4 while other members of the group become more involved in the new Revenue Cycle project.
Knowledge of RPG programming and IBM System-I is required. Knowledge of Java and Microsoft SQL a plus. Previous experience with MedSeries4(MS4), Nextgen or Cerner Revenue Cycle application is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
