Project Overview:
GNATA (Guyana North American Trade Association) is seeking motivated student interns to join our marketing team for the spring semester. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, and brand building for an innovative international trade organization.

As a GNATA intern, you will be crucial in expanding our brand presence and awareness in North America through creative social media campaigns and marketing initiatives. Your efforts will directly strengthen economic ties between Guyana and North American businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic social media marketing plans across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram
- Create engaging content (text, graphics, videos) to showcase GNATA's mission, services, and success stories
- Implement targeted advertising campaigns to reach relevant audiences in North America
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and ROI
- Assist with website updates, email marketing campaigns, and other digital marketing tactics
- Research industry trends and provide recommendations to enhance GNATA's online branding
- Collaborate with the marketing team on ideation, planning, and implementation of brand-building initiatives

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles
- Creativity and an eye for engaging visual content
- Familiarity with content creation/design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

This is a remote, part-time internship opportunity for the spring semester. The exact hours are flexible based on your availability.
