Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Wellington office:
Senior Risk Advisor
What can you expect?
As a Senior Risk Advisor you will manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times which may include the self-servicing of small to mid-sized client accounts under supervision of Client Executives. Additionally, you will assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service, including face-to-face client contact, administration, technical support and business development.
This role is client-facing and provides and opportunity to further strengthen insurance knowledge and client servicing skills.

We will count on you to:
Assist Client Executives with the preparation, management, implementation and achievement of business plans and goals. Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers an frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Companys relationship with the client. Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards. Implement successful account retention and defence strategies. Maintain awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients. Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments. Maintain ultimate responsibility for the timely and accurate production, processing and delivery of client related administration and documentation.
What you need to have:
Previous experience within the Insurance industry broking or underwriting experience Willingness to achieve and maintain Level 5 (Financial Advice) competency. Possess good working knowledge of all aspects of Insurance and other relevant legislation
What makes you stand out:
Corporate broking/insurance experience Insurance qualifications (ANZIIF or similar)
