We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Albuquerque. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from contract negotiation and execution to post-construction activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including contract negotiations and execution, project post-construction activities, and communication with direct reports, estimators, and customers.


• Lead discussions on estimating throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-bid to post-bid stages.


• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain an incident and injury-free work environment. Identify and mitigate hazards to minimize OSHA recordable and lost time incidents.


• Conduct regular visits to project sites to assess progress, monitor schedule status, and maintain proper documentation.


• Negotiate vendor terms, pricing, and delivery to meet specified budget and schedule requirements. Obtain necessary Certificates of Insurance and Payment/Performance Bonds.


• Generate accurate and timely documentation including logs, subcontracts, purchase orders, project quality plans, startup activities, execution plans, and closeout activities.


• Maintain project budget goals and develop billing schedules. Prepare accurate and timely invoices for customers and perform accounts receivable duties.

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry or engineering field.


• Expertise in construction contract processes and job costing/budgeting.


• Proven ability to interpret contracts and trade specifications.


• Advanced estimating capability and experience in change order generation.


• Knowledge of construction methods and local permit practices.


• Familiarity with construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while representing the company in a professional manner.


• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.


• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Project, Excel is preferred

Physical Requirements for the Project Manager position:

• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders.


• Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as necessary.


• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to project sites and meeting locations.
