Position Description:

Designs and implements robust cyber security and risk mitigation approaches. Conducts static code scanning and penetration testing using Github GHAS Scan, CODEQL, and MEND Security; intercepts the HTTP Interceptor using Insomnia. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.



Primary Responsibilities:

· Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

· Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

· Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

· Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

· Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

· Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

· Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

· Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

· Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

· Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Information Science and Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing custom client applications for employee payroll, payment, benefits administration, and modeling systems.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Information Science and Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing custom client applications for employee payroll, payment, benefits administration, and modeling systems.


Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:



· Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) building responsive end-to-end MVC-based Web applications through the development of Angular and Drupal applications using NodeJS, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Java, and design patterns; and performing software development according to Test Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies.

· DE designing and building Angular and Java Cloud based application solutions for financial and benefits administration using Azure and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines.

· DE delivering custom client websites and digital solutions using Node.js, Angular 14+, Java 8, Python, and Azure.

· DE developing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation, using API design and development and Micro-Services Architecture.
